Grade Average — Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between Points, Simple, Weighted, and Category?
Points uses sum(score)/sum(out-of). Simple averages percents equally. Weighted multiplies each item by its weight %. Category averages per-category and then applies category weights.
How do A–F thresholds work?
They convert the final percent to a letter. We enforce A+ ≥ A ≥ A- ≥ … ≥ D- so the mapping is consistent.
Can I import from a spreadsheet?
Yes — use the CSV template, then Import CSV. You can also export your current table to CSV or PDF.
