How It Works
How These Grade Calculators Work
Every grade calculator on this site uses the same underlying math your institution does: weighted averages. If your syllabus says assignments are worth 40%, the midterm 25%, and the final 35%, the calculator multiplies each score by its weight and adds the results.
What changes across tools is the input format. Some calculators let you enter individual assignment scores and their point values. Others let you set category weights first, then add individual items within each category. The Grade Calculator handles both approaches simultaneously- points or percentages, weighted or unweighted, in one interface.
All calculations happen locally in your browser. Your grades never leave your device.
