Class Rank Estimator

Estimate your class rank using GPA and class size. See percentile and approximate standing (Top 10%, Top 25%).

Methods: Known Top % turns a percentile into an estimated rank. Normal uses class mean & std dev. Empirical ranks you against a pasted list.

Same scale rule: Your score (and Normal inputs) must match the selected Scale (4.0, 5.0, or 100).

Import/Export: Paste a list in the Empirical panel (one per line, CSV allowed). Export CSV or PDF. Copy a share link from the bottom panel.

Policy: Choose Category Linear if attendance is a weighted category (e.g., 10% of course). Choose Penalty per Absence if your syllabus subtracts a fixed percent for each absence over an allowance.

Counts: Set Total, Held, Absences, and optional Expected to project outcomes.

Letters: Use Edit thresholds to adjust percent→letter mapping or Reset thresholds.
